OUR STORYBefore Wavemakers Collective, there were college notes, long conversations, shared work experiences, and two friends who kept finding their way back to the same belief: knowledge empowers people. Led by HRD-accredited trainer duo Nadzirah Hashim and Rachel Lai, Wavemakers Collective brings together 15 years of experience in strategy, communication, leadership, and team development to help people build the skills, clarity, and practices that good work demands.
Wavemakers began in Malaysia, training startups and founders who were navigating the beautiful confusion of early growth. We learned early that most business questions are also human questions: What are we really trying to say? Who are we becoming? What should we do next?
From there, our work found its way into CSR, refugee communities, and conversations with business owners of every kind, regionally. We became sounding boards for people carrying ideas, decisions, and uncertainty: helping them turn knowledge into direction.
